The Standard We Build To
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA, and exceed it in one place deliberately: every interactive target on the site is at least 44 by 44 pixels, which is the AAA figure rather than the AA one. The booking flow's real context is one-handed, on a phone, in a terminal or a moving car, and the AA minimum is compliant and unusable there.
Keyboard And Screen Reader
Every control on the site can be reached and operated from a keyboard, focus is always visible, and the navigation panels and dialogs return focus where you left it when they close. Menus and drawers use the browser's own dialog behaviour rather than an imitation of it, so they behave the way your assistive technology expects.
Motion And Contrast
If your device is set to reduce motion, every animation on this site is removed rather than merely shortened — nothing fades, drifts or settles. Text and interface colours are checked against the contrast thresholds in the guidelines, and the site also supports the forced-colours mode used on managed government and corporate devices.
Where We Know We Fall Short
Photography on this site carries descriptive alternative text, but some decorative and illustrative panels are marked as decorative and convey their meaning only through the surrounding text. We are also aware that long policy pages would benefit from a contents list at the top. Both are open items rather than finished work.
