The Defender 130 is the long-bodied version, with a third row and a genuinely useful amount of space behind it. We run it for country houses and estates, for shoots and sporting fixtures, and for winter journeys where the surface stops being tarmac somewhere before the front door. It is the most practical car in the collection and the least apologetic about it.

The Land Rover Defender has a very particular role within the fleet.
It is especially well suited to journeys where London is only the beginning of the itinerary. Country houses, estates, countryside destinations and sporting fixtures can all require a different type of vehicle from an urban executive journey.
The Defender also makes sense when the road itself becomes part of the journey. Rural routes, changing weather and destinations beyond the usual city environment are situations where its character feels appropriate.
For private clients travelling into the countryside, it offers a practical alternative to a conventional saloon while retaining the premium feel expected from a Chauffeurs World journey.
It can also work well for longer private itineraries where passengers want one vehicle throughout rather than changing cars as the journey moves from London towards the countryside.
